Instruction for adults and children grades two through twelve
Implemented 3 to 5 times a week for 60 to 90 minutes each instructional period.
Instruction given individually or in small groups of up to six students.
Lesson plans include ten parts, incorporating three separate blocks of word study, spelling
, and fluency and comprehension.
The curriculum involves twelve steps and can take two to three years to complete.
The system is separated into two levels of vocabulary: level A for younger and ESL students, level B for older students. The unique "sound tapping" system shifts the focus to phoneme segmentation.
